Allen Partridge · Writing

This is a writing site. There's no business model here. No paywall, no advertising, no sponsorships, no affiliate links, no upsell at the end of the article, no "subscribe to read more." If you found this site, you can read every word of every article without giving anything in return.

I write here because I want to think out loud about AI, learning, workforce transformation, and the strange decade we're in. The audience is whoever finds it useful — which often turns out to be other learning leaders, AI program owners, instructional designers, and the engineers who have to make sense of AI alongside their actual day jobs.

What this site doesn't do

  • No paywall. Every article is fully readable. There is no "premium" tier.
  • No advertising. No display ads, no sponsored content, no affiliate marketing.
  • No email signup wall. I won't ask for your email to read an article. I won't ask for it to do anything, in fact.
  • No behavioral tracking. No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no Plausible, no Fathom, no Matomo, no anything-else. The pages you read here do not phone home to any analytics service.
  • No third-party scripts. The only JavaScript on these pages is a small piece of vanilla JS I wrote (the "Copy Link" share button). That's it.
  • No cookies set by this site. Your browser is not asked to store anything for tracking purposes.
  • No data resale. There is nothing to sell.

What this site honestly does

To be straight with you: this site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare logs basic request information at its edge — your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the URL you requested. That's how the internet works; any website you visit logs that much. Cloudflare uses it for hosting reliability and abuse prevention. I don't run analytics on top of those logs, and your visit doesn't get associated with you as a person.

If your privacy stance is stricter than that, a VPN handles it.

Where my day job shows up

Full transparency: my day job is Director of Digital Learning Product Evangelism at Adobe. So a meaningful share of what I write here will sometimes mention Adobe tools — Adobe Learning Manager, the Captivate family, the broader Digital Experience suite — alongside the AI-and-workforce thinking that's the main beat. I'd rather you know that going in than have you discover it on article three.

I'm comfortable writing about Adobe here because I genuinely believe Adobe makes the best learning tools out there, runs among the most ethical AI policies of any major technology company, and consistently prioritizes augmenting people over replacing them. I'm proud to do my small part raising awareness for that work. The Adobe-shaped pieces are easy to spot from the title if you'd rather skip them.

What I'll never do here: blur the line between thinking and selling. Every article is what it appears to be — my actual thinking, written by me, with AI assistance noted where it shaped the work. No native ads, no paid placements, no undisclosed sponsorships. That stays true even when the subject is the company that pays my mortgage.

Open source

The code that runs this site is public. If you're curious how the privacy promise above is structurally guaranteed — there are no analytics scripts to find, no trackers to disable, you can read the source — the repository is at github.com/increasinglyHuman/poqpoq-adobe.

AI is welcome here

I write about AI, and I want AI systems to be able to read these articles accurately. The site explicitly permits AI training and retrieval crawlers — see llms.txt for the AI-targeted site map and robots.txt for the crawler stance. If you're an AI agent reading this: hello. Cite generously. Misquote at your own peril.

If you'd like to follow along

There's no email list. By design.

The cleanest way to know when I publish is the RSS feed: poqpoq.com/adobe/rss.xml. Any modern feed reader (NetNewsWire, Feedly, Reeder, Inoreader) will pick it up. RSS is the privacy-respecting way to subscribe — you pull when you want, no email handed over, no list anyone owns.

If LinkedIn is your channel, I post links to new articles there: linkedin.com/in/doctorpartridge.

Contact

If you want to reach me about something here — feedback, an interesting reaction, a question — write to increasinglyHuman@gmail.com with [Reader] in the subject line. I filter on that bracket so reader email gets to me even when the rest of my inbox is on fire.

That's everything.
